Cold Conditions German-Style Pilsner

Cold Conditions! We were not having cold conditions the day I was enjoying a glass of Six Bridges Cold Conditions German-Style Pilsner, this I can tell you. I was sitting out on my patio on a warm April evening soaking up the sun and the suds. It was April Fool’s Day to be precise but my friends I can assure you: this beer is no joke. It’s a spot on interpretation of a classic German Pilsner.

From the label:

Built to carve a clean line from first sip to last. Eraclea malt brings crisp clarity, Magnum hops keep things sharp, and Huell Melon adds just a hint of Alpine sweetness. A true apres-ski…or avant-ski crusher.

Six Bridges Cold Conditions German-Style Pilsner has an alcohol content of 4.7% by volume and was running $13.99 a 4-pack of pint cans at Total Wine where I bought mine. My can is stamped PKG ON 01/13/26.

Six Bridges Cold Conditions German-Style Pilsner pours to a brilliant golden color with a thick fluffy white head and a nose of crisp biscuit malt and herbal hops. Taking a sip, the beer is much the same in the palate, fresh bread, Crisp biscuity, zesty hoppy with citrusy lemon and earthy herbal grassy notes and a long dry bitter finish.

This was a wonderful refreshing and flavorful pilsner, and one I would love to drink again. In fact, I saw it listed on tap at my local Taco mac in their app, but it sold out before I could get there. They did replace it with a delicious Coffee Cake Break Imperial Porter, though, and I loved the heck out of that.

Next month (May), Six Bridges is beer of the month at Taco Mac, and one of their offerings will be an Italian Pilsner. I’ll be all over that one, too.

Glad I tried it?  T

Would I rebuy it??
