Juice Willis What Just Hoppened IPA

Review Date 10/24/2020   By John Staradumsky

Hey there folks-what just hoppened? I got a crowler of Wrecking Bar beer at Stout’s Growlers here in Canton, and I just poured it out. It looks a little darker than usual for an IPA, a hazy “New England” style one at that. Maybe I got the last of the keg. Sure tastes good, though, but then Wrecking Bar beers usually do. The name of the beer is Juice Willis: What Just Hoppened, and it is another installment in their Juice Willis line of IPAs.

This will be a short one, because there is no information on this beer I can find via Bing or Google. Untappd pegs it at 6.5% by volume, and I paid $12 for the crowler at Stouts.

Wrecking Bar Juice Willis What Just Hoppened pours to a dark hazy color with a medium head of foam and a grapefruit and tropical fruity nose. Taking a sip, the beer is medium in body, very juicy with pineapple and citrus grapefruit pith and peel and a balanced finish. There’s a touch of Resiny pine, too. I think I might like more bitterness at the last, but there is enough to balance this tasty beer, and every sip begs for another.

And remember, try a new beer today, and drink outside the box.
