Saint Dolly's Blonde Bock
Review Date 3/22/2025 By John Staradumsky
Wild Heaven Brewery! I was at Wild Heaven Brewery! It was my birthday and we had just come from the Brick Store Pub where I enjoyed a number of great beers, including a Bluejacket Smokin’ George Smoked Porter. Not far away is Wild Heaven’s Avondale Estates location, and I wanted to go there next, but the Designated Daughter miscalculated and we ended up at their Toco Hills brewery instead. Not to worry! They make beer here, too, and partner with Fox Brothers Barbecue for the vittles.
This location is situated in a strip mall tucked into a corner behind the Sababas. As soon as we got there I ordered a Saint Dolly Blonde Bock, because I love bock beer. The beer is named for Dolly Parton and her charitable works, and a portion of the proceeds go towards those good deeds.
This is a spring seasonal for Wild Heaven, and it has an alcohol content of 6% by volume. I paid $7.50 for a pint here.
Wild Heaven Saint Dolly’s Blonde Bock arrived a pale blonde color with a moderate head and a nose of soft sweet malt and cooked corn. The beer was medium in body, with sweet crisp malt and a hint of caramel, punctuated by a light earthy herbal finish.
This was tasty indeed and I will look for it again, as it does reappear annually.
Glad I tried it?

Would I rebuy it??
