Received this beer as a gift from Union Station brewer Carl Burnham. Deep dark color, thick creamy tan head, fairly subtle malt nose. Palate is full of rich chocolate and licorice. Creamy smooth texture, rich mouthfeel. Warm alcohol finish. Reminiscent of a North Coast Rasputin but slightly tamer. Alcohol content is around 8% to 9%. Very nice beer.
