I was at Stoudt's a few years ago, and all I can say is it's a great brewery. Go for the tour if you can, you'll enjoy it, and leave yourself time for a few beers in the Beergarden. Bring a cooler, too, and fill it with as much beer as you can at the brewery store. You'll be glad you did!

Drinking this beer is a truly unique experience. The first thing that catches your attention is the label sporting a photo of Michel Notredame of Philadelphia's renowned Belgian beer bar Brigid's garbed in a monk's robe. Next, you have to peel the wax seal off of the cap before you can finally pop
it open. When you do at last get it open, though, you'll find it was worth the extra effort. This light brown beer boasts of a good sized rocky head and a
yeasty, malty nose. I get a good dose of horse-blanket Belgian yeast character and a firm, sweet maltiness right through the beer, followed by a touch of sugary sweetness in the finish. One hell of a beer indeed.

And remember, try a new beer today, and drink outside the box.
