Global Warmer Cloudy Red ale
Review Date 2/3/2025 By John Staradumsky
Do you know what the hardest part about being me is? Finding the beer glass I’m looking for. Happens to me all the time, I’m trying to find that one glass in my collection of over 1000 to pour the beer I want to drink into, and I cannot find the bloody thing. Just happened again recently when I wanted to drink my can of Sixpoint Global Warmer Cloudy Red Ale.
It’s been sitting in my refrigerator since last December, ready to drink, but I could not for the life of me find my Sixpoint glass. I am pretty sure I have two different Sixpoint glasses mind you, but where they were was a mystery to me. I looked and looked and looked through my entire shaker glass collection with no success until it dawned on me: I had not yet looked in my office closet. And there it was. And here I am.
Sixpoint says of their Global Warmer:
We’re celebrating 20 years of Sixpoint in 2024 and we’re bringing back some of your favorites by popular demand. For our third revival we brewed up GLOBAL WARMER. Some say the world will end in fire, some say in ice. From what I’ve tasted of desire I hold with those who favor fire. Fire your world up with a Global warmer, our 7.0% red ale that has a toasty, malty sweetness and a bright hop profile featuring fruit and pine notes.
I paid $3.99 for a pint can of Sixpoint Global Warmer Cloudy Red Ale, which I thought a very good price for a single. This is the only pricing information I have. My can was stamped BEST BY FEB 22 25.
Sixpoint Global Warmer Cloudy Red Ale pours to a hazy red color with a thick fluffy eggshell head and a robust nose of berries and stewed malts. Taking a sip, the beer is medium in body, maybe a little bit more than that. A thick layer of Brussels Lace clings to the sides of my glass and follows the liquid all the way to the bottom. Taking a sip, the beer immediately explodes with tasty red ale goodness: stewed malts, red berries, subtle chocolate, candied citrus rind. I get Caramel and orange jello, too, and the beer finishes with a pronounced grassy bitterness.
Worth the wait!
Glad I tried it?

Would I rebuy it??
