Samuel Adams New England Juicy IPA
Review Date 9/21/2025 By John Staradumsky
Hey Taco Mac! What you got going on this September? What’s that? It’s a Samuel Adams Beer of the Month extravaganza? Oh yeah, you know I’m going to be there every Thursday night! So far, I’ve been true to my word and as I type this Sunday, September 21st I have not missed a giveaway night yet. That’s because there’s so much cool stuff this month! What’s more, you can get any of the Samuel Adams Beers in a full liter stein for just $9.99! Where are you going to find a deal like that these days?
So, that’s what I did, on September 4th I ordered up a stein of the classic Samuel Adams Octoberfest, a beer I have been drinking since it was introduced some 36 years ago. Imagine that! I got a nifty half liter Samuel Adams mug for my prize, too, and my daughter and I split 20 wings to make the night a real winner.
Fast forward one week and it’s Thursday September 11th and I’m drinking a liter of the iconic Samuel Adams Cherry Wheat. This week you got a cool Samuel Adams Octoberfest hat as the freebie. Once again, we enjoyed 20 wings with the beer.
Week 3 is here! September 18th and I’m loving a new beer to me, Samuel Adams New England Juicy IPA. Or is it a new beer? Samuel Adams has already done a few other hazy juicy New England IPAs, so lets look at the stats on Samuel Adams New England Juicy IPA and compare to the prior ones.

Hey! That sounds pretty bloody similar!
Samuel Adams Wicked Hazy Juicy New England IPA

Anybody seeing a pattern here? Because I’m seeing a pattern here. Anyway, I did pay $9.99 for a liter of Samuel Adams New England Juicy IPA. I got a really cool Samuel Adams Octoberfest stress ball guy tchotchke with my purchase. Yankee Spirits in Massachusetts (how I miss that store) sells the beer in a 4-pack of pint cans for $11.99. I have only seen the beer in seasonal 12-packs here in Georgia.
My mug of Samuel Adams New England Juicy IPA arrived a hazy yellow orange color with a robust nose of citrus and tropical and stone fruit. Taking a sip, the beer is medium in body, smooth from the oats and offers flavors of pineapple, mango, apricot, fresh citrus fruit and orange marmalade. The finish is balanced but not really bitter.
This week I hit Taco Mac with my daughter and her boyfriend. The IPA went great with wings and nachos.
Glad I tried it?

Would I rebuy it??
