Isn’t it nice when you can do the things you like to do and do the right thing at the same time? Well, you can every time you drink Rogue Hot Tub Scholarship Lager. This is a fine Munich Helles lager that’s easy to drink and flavorful at the same time, and I enjoyed a 23-ounce mug full at Taco Mac.

My mug of Rogue Hot Tub Scholarship Lager arrived a beautiful straw color with a thick fluffy white head and a light bready malt nose. Taking a sip, I got soft clean bready malt in the smooth drinking palate with a gently bitter grassy hop finish.
This is what I want in a Helles lager, soft bready malt with a balancing (but not overwhelming) hop bitterness. The malt should be the feature here, and it is in Rogue Hot Tub Scholarship Lager. Knowing that you’re helping fund the education of tomorrow’s class of brewers makes it taste all the better.
