This beer is brewed by the Red Bell Brewing Company which is
located in a section of Philadelphia known as Brewerytown. It seems to be
intended as a light-bodied, quenching lager beer, and at that it certainly
succeeds. The color of this beer is light golden, just a bit darker than a
Budweiser or Coors. The nose is dominated by DMS immediately after pouring,
though this fades a bit after a few minutes. The palate here is lightly
malty with a persistent hint of DMS and a balancing to slightly bitter hop
finish. A good quenching beer for a hot summer night.
And remember, try a new beer today, and drink outside the box.
