Everything Naughty White Chocolate Imperial Blonde Stout

Well how did this happen? A few years ago, December of 2023 to be precise, I enjoyed a can of Ommegang Everything Naughty, a white chocolate imperial blonde stout. I took tasting notes and you are about to read them, but I never got around to fleshing them out into a review. Until now.

Now, as those who regularly read my musings are aware, I am skeptical of the whole white stout thing. I don’t believe it’s real, and I can tell you that although I enjoyed Ommegang Everything Naughty, it did nothing to convince me on the whole white stout thing. Especially white imperial stout. Don’t even get me started.

Anyway, here it is 2025, and I just now drank the bottle of Ommegang Everything Nice I bought around the same time. I expect I may have that backwards. Shouldn’t you be nice before you are naughty? I think I got it backwards.

Here’s what Ommegang says about Everything Naughty on their website:

The Naughty Elves were spotted in Cooperstown not long ago full of mischief and mayhem which left us, much to our delight, with an imperial blonde stout; Everything Naughty. A stout that confuses the
eyes and tantalizes the taste buds. Anticipate notes of roasted coffee and white chocolate complete with a brilliant golden hue. This rich stout is smooth and velvety with classic stout flavors.

Ingredients from the website:

HOPS Magnum, Saaz, and Styrian Golding

FERMENTABLES 2 Row, Cara Pils, Blonde Roasted Malt

Ommegang Everything Naughty has an alcohol content of 9.5% by volume with 27 IBUs and I paid $4.99 for a single from Half Time Beverage. It was selling for $16.49 a 4-pack at Total Wine at the time. My can was marked 062124 on the bottom, the best by date.

Ommegang Everything Naughty pours to a hazy golden color with a very light wispy head and a nose of vanilla and white chocolate. Taking a sip, the beer is medium in body to perhaps slightly more. It is smooth and chocolaty in a white chocolate sort of way, with gentle suggestions of coffee. It’s not a stout-as I said don’t get me started there-but it is a tasty beer very reminiscent of white chocolate candy. It finishes slightly sweet, rich and warming with alcohol.

I would definitely buy this again. We all deserve to be a little naughty now and then, don’t we?

Would I rebuy it??
