I tried the NFE at Oldenberg's Beer Camp a year and a half ago, and I was very impressed by it. The same was true of their Apple Ale and Maple Wheat. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to get a decent bottle since. The Apple Ale and Maple Wheat comes in green bottles and has always been horribly skunked, the Eisbock has been undrinkable as well. I don't know what the problem is, but I do know the result: I've stopped buying the beer. A shame really, since it was great when I tasted it fresh.
And remember, try a new beer today, and drink outside the box.
