Ipswich Dark Ale:
What way to finish the night's beer drinking. The keg had just been put on a few days ago, and this big, dark malty beauty made a perfect dessert for me while my wife enjoyed her ice cream. This one just screams sweet dark malt, not roasty but brown-ale like with hints of molasses and a perfectly balanced piny hop finish. I've always thought this an excellent beer in the growler, on draft it's even better IMHO.

Ipswich gets the nod for brewing the hoppiest damn oatmeal stout I've ever
tasted. What a delight. The dark ale in growlers is mighty fine too, I
think I prefer that to the Ipswich ale. And the barley wine.....
And remember, try a new beer today, and drink outside the box.
