Beautiful deep dark brown color, light carbonation, rich buttery malty nose. Big fruity palate is slightly roasty with notes of chocolate, spice (cinnamon?) and pear, good hop bitterness in the finish rounds this one out nicely. Not exactly my idea of a wee heavy, but definitely a nice beer for a cold February evening.
