The beer pours to a murky brown hue, with a minimal head. The nose is full of the Cascade and Chinook hops the beer was brewed with, and they are readily apparent in the first sip from start to finish. The malt is instantly overpowered by the hops, which give this beer a piny, spicy hop bite in the finish. Fat Chance is truly a hop lover's delight, definitely not a brown ale in the English sense, but a very hoppy American one. If you don't belong to Beer Across America, find a friend who does and try this ! Highly recommended!
And remember, try a new beer today, and drink outside the box.
