Cloudbreaker India Pale Ale
Review Date 1/24/2025 By John Staradumsky
Here’s my first beer from Macon, Georgia’s Fall Line Brewing Company: Cloudbreaker India Pale Ale. I assure you, though, that it will not be my last. I picked up a single of this beer at Total Wine while Christmas beer shopping, and now I wish I had bought more. I will, of course, rectify that situation soon enough.
IPAs are super plentiful these days, so while this one may not set itself apart from the pack, I certainly enjoyed the hell out of it. It was crisp and refreshing and flavorful in so many ways I just kept sipping and sipping and before I know it, there it was, gone!
Fall Line has this listed as one of their mainstay beers, and they say about it:
A juicy IPA with subtle hints of pineapple and mango, perfect for day drinking. Keep your head in the clouds and a beer in your hands.
Fall Line Cloudbreaker IPA has an alcohol content of 6.5% by volume with 30 IBUs. I paid $2.99 for my single at Total Wine, where they sell it for $12.99 a six-pack. It runs $6.50 a pint at the brewery. My can has no freshness dating.
Fall Line Cloudbreaker India Pale Ale pours to a pale yellow color with a moderate sized white head of foam and a nose of soft citrus rind. Taking a sip, the beer is light in body and very easy drinking. It does not lack in flavor, though, and it bursts with lemony citrus rind, melon and tropical mango. In the finish it is zesty bitter, intensely so, and that makes it all the more refreshing.
That wonderful bitterness is what seals the deal here for me, and I will definitely be drinking this one again, and on the hunt for more Fall line beers.
Glad I tried it?

Would I rebuy it??
