As I pour the golden beer into my large, thistle shaped Duvel glass, a rocky, pourous head forms. A stream of small bubbles continues to ascend to the head, and even from a distance one can smell the yeasty, spicy aromas wafting from this brew. I take a sip, and my mouth is invaded by the peppery horse-blanket yeast flavors here. A bit thinner than say perhaps a trappist single, but still an interesting, tasty brew with a delicate but voiciferous hop finish. This beer would be an excellent companion to a cup of French onion soup loaded with cheese. Tres bien!
And remember, try a new beer today, and drink outside the box.
