No Resolutions IPA

Happy New Year 2026! I don’t know about you, but I’m ringing it in with a beer. Not on New Year’s Eve mind you, I prefer to celebrate that occasion with a Three Stooges Marathon and a smorgasbord of Chinese food. Instead, I like to have a few beers on New Year’s Day along with a final array of Christmas music for the close of the holiday season.

With all of the Christmas and winter seasonal beers I imbibe over that time, though, I think I am about due for a New Year’s beer: No Resolutions IPA by Bronx Brewery of New York. I cannot say for sure this is a “New Year” themed beer per se, although Half Time beverage describes it as follows:

If you are looking for a beer to satisfy your New Year's resolution, make no mistake -- this isn't it.

For my part, I will henceforth consider it as my official beer to celebrate each New Year-assuming I can get it. After all, I myself make no resolutions. I like me just the way I am.

Bronx Brewery has this to say about No Resolutions IPA on their website:

Our West Coast IPA. Classic. Complex. Dank.

No Resolutions, our exceptional West Coast IPA that defies expectations and embraces the bold. This classic and complex brew takes you on a sensory journey like no other. Prepare to be enveloped by the tantalizing aromas of citrus and pine as they intertwine, creating a harmonious bouquet that beckons you closer. With a perfect blend of six carefully selected hops, “No Resolutions” unleashes a symphony of flavors that dance on your palate.

Ingredients from the website:

Hop Bill: Atlus, Comet, Centennial, Cascade, Citra

Grain Bill: 2 Row, Light Munich, Dextrose

Bronx Brewery No Resolutions IPA has an alcohol content of 7.6% by volume and I paid $2.99 for my can from Half Time. That is the only pricing information I have, but as singles go, it is a very fair price indeed. My can is stamped CANNED 06092025.

Bronx Brewery No Resolutions IPA pours to a pale straw color with a thick fluffy white head and a nose of piney resiny citrusy hops. Taking a sip, the beer is light in body, and I might like more of that. It’s packed with citrusy grapefruit notes, though, and they pop against the lighter malt body. Piney resiny hops abound too, and the beer finishes wonderfully bitter, long lingering and dry.

A Perfect pairing with spicy chicken curry. I loved it, folks.

 Glad I tried it?  T

Would I rebuy it??
