Label says best by November of 1997, nice of the liquor store to have aged
this one for me. Dark brown color, quite a bit of head forms for the style,
sweet malty nose. Very complex palate features molasses, toffee, raisin, a
bit of coffee, chocolate, and an extremely sweet finish. Alcohol warmth is
abundant as well. This is a great winter beer, it's warming and delicious,
it reminds me of Old Peculier with a bigger kick.
And remember, try a new beer today, and drink outside the box.
